My husband and I had the pleasure of purchasing products for our Golden Retriever, as he was having issues with hot spots, and other skin conditions. We were scheduled to take him to the vet the day after our visit to your store but decided to wait to see how the change in food as well as the wild Alaskan salmon oil you suggested worked. We are happy to say that after a week on the new food and salmon oil we have seen a tremendous improvement in his hot spots. Plus he is not licking himself as much. The chamomile shampoo was great.

This is my beautiful 11 year old pure black lab Payton. He was recently diagnosed with a Mast tumor that was biopsied and said to be cancerous. The soft fatty lump had started to bleed and he licked it continuously. We used liquid bandage to help the sore heal and looked into natural alternatives to improve his quality of life. It was hard but I am happy I didn't give up. This news of cancer is devastating and I was at a cross road so I chose NOT to put him thru the traumatic operation and series of X-Rays that the vet had suggested, not to mention extreme expense with no guarantees. This was a tough decision but I wanted him to live as happy as possible for his remaining time so I went to your store to look into options. Changing his diet was the first step and when I discovered how much he liked the RAW food plan along with the high protein food, it was an easy change. I experimented with the Animal Essentials Organic Green Alternative as well as taking your advice with the immune system enhancing drops, ES Clear, and in approx one month, the tumor has completely disappeared. We also have Payton's sister, Kirra dog, on the same diet and her health has improved considerably... She has not been diagnosed but has had issues walking from a large mass on her chest which has also shrunk but not gone yet. Thank you for your assistance and human compassion for our pets... I'm a true believer that we are what we eat and it goes for dogs too! We love dogs and dog owners.

My name is Richard and I have been a customer of your store for about six months now. I was happy to find a pet store that sells all organic food. I used to feed my rescue dog Buddy what I was told was the best dog food. He started getting lipoma tumors all over his body. The vets told me they could be cut off but would probably grow back. I tried this once, and they grew back. He has a huge one on his back leg that sometimes bothers him. I started feeding him only organic food and treats. I took suggestions from Lee and Susan and found ZiwiPeak dog food. He loves it and eats it all right away. I also give him Zuke's Hip Action treats, Vital Essentials Freeze-Dried Mini Pet Patties (he is obsessed with these), and K9 Granola Factory Pumpkin Crunchers for snacks. I also give him one Omega-3 once a day.

Since I put him on the diet, his energy levels have almost doubled. He is stronger (did I mention he is 12 years old). I no longer have a flea and tick problem, and I did not treat him or the yard this summer. He also sheds half as much, and he maintains a shiny coat. In September 2011, I noticed his tumors were getting soft and the one on the back leg seemed smaller , so I measured it (17 1/2"). On November 28 2011, I measured it again (16 1/4"). These measurements are from the biggest area of the tumor. The other tumors are shrinking as well. I do walk him 2 miles a day, but I have done this for the last 2 years. I am astounded at the dramatic difference in the health of my pet in the last three months. I started the organic food in June 2010. I wish I had known about this sooner. Did I mention the vet said he has the health of a dog 4 years younger?

I am grateful that I found your store, and I let people with pets know what the products you sell have done for my dog. Lee and Susan have been instrumental in guiding me to get my dog healthy again. They have actually researched some of the conditions and have directed me to the proper remedies. I am truly grateful and wish Natural Pet Specialty Shop and the staff the best.
